I just tried the "release" version and there are many bugs (more than I noticed in sandbox mode while in development), as well as sandbox mode now being locked behind the campaign that mostly demonstrates the worst aspects of the game, such as: Make a plaza, but if it isn't perfectly square the plaza will be turned in the plot quite a bit more than the plot is out of square and look wrong. Make a park, but you can't control where the paths go or the trees and the trees will appear on the paths and overlap the buildings if you look closely. The first tutorials do not allow you to change some things once you have done them, setting you off with a bad start if it turns out the building or park you selected looks quite bad in context. Additionally there is what might be a translation error where the tutorial asks you to "validate the design" when it wants you to continue building more buildings ("validate the design" suggests that there is something you need to do to keep the building you already changed before moving on).

There are additional bugs in the design library: clicking on already unlocked designs doesn't work at times (it continues showing the previously selected design), the unlock screen doesn't always remove the collections you unlock and if you unlock it again you get duplicates of the same building in your collection. This is where I stopped and uninstalled the game, even though I had previously enjoyed the sandbox mode. I didn't try the last available development release since it crashed when loading my previous game. This version had a worse problem, starting with settings screen in French, except that nothing could be changed and the game seemed to just not work at all until I deleted the save directory (AppData\Local Low\Enodo Games). This was not deleted from the offline uninstaller when answering not to keep save games.

I can't recommend the game at all in this state and can only imagine that anyone starting with this version will have a hard time figuring out how anyone could find it enjoyable.
