When trying to start the 11th Hour, I get a critical "XMIDI system initialization failed" error, and I'm dumped back out to desktop. What kind of workaround can I use to fix this?

I couldn't play this in Windows 8 so I upgraded to 10... Now I get this error. Any workaround?
