I managed to get it running on a Windows 7 machine and the movie player would stutter. Tried adjusting the .ini files but started getting crashes when the puzzles would start. The music is louder than speech but you can't set them separately.

A 3D remake sure would be nice hint hint wink wink nudge nudge say no more...
