I've bought the game the other day and just now got around to downloading and when I did I got a Checksum error on chunk 4 or 5 ( it's been different a couple of times.) I tried downloading about 4 times and it keeps doing it. I go to the GoG.com file where the setup downloads are and every time it gets hung up around 92,000 Kb's in size. I've tried deleting it and restarting my computer but it hasn't helped. I just downloaded "Another World" right before and didn't have any issues. Just wanted to check with someone else that has the game to see if it's a problem with the download itself or if it's just me before I contact support. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Did you try downloading via the browser instead? If the downloader is still doing it I would contact support like you said. They might need to poke their mirrors. You can also post in the GOG.com Downloader (Windows & Mac client) discussion thread if you haven't already.

Hey, this morning after seeing nobody reply yet I was going to go ahead and contact support, when I did I found the answer in the gog downloader section of the support page. It said to go to the gog downloader settings and set the concurrent connections to 1. I didn't have time to check to see if it worked or not this morning because I had to go to work so I left my computer on and let it download. I just got home and and it's currently about 80% complete. I think what happened was that my bandwidth gets throttled once a a month and it caused the error. Usually there isn't a problem but for some reason this download threw a fit over it. But I believe its working now so if any body see's this and having the same problem they'll know what to do.

Thanks for replying :-)

I don't ever use the downloader myself, but come to think of it I have seen that suggested before. Maybe I will actually remember it this time. Anyway, glad you have it sorted.
