I got the 25th Anniversary Edition today and ran it on Windows 10 on a widescreen monitor.
Everything is stretched in the menus, the actual game is centered, but the cursor is offset. I can not open the game menu because I cannot reach the leftmost part of the screen.

Is there any way to restrict the game to use a 4:3 part of the screen and/or make it windowed?
I tried the suggestions from other threads in this forum, namely:

- change t7g.ini fullscreen=true to fullscreen=false
- custom executable with -F parameter (from ScummVM)
- custom executable with -f parameter

None of these appear to have an effect; the ini setting gets reverted randomly.

Any ideas appreciated.

Try write-protecting the .ini file after you change it; but if you are using the Scumm version the I think F5 will bring up a configuration menu. Fine tunning your Scumm games can be done from within the Scumm exe--just the basic program. It's been awhile since I looked at the game--I just fired it up to make sure it's still running and it is. If I find out something of more value I'll be back...;)
