These are some of the best live-action games ever made. I'm really happy to see them coming to GoG.
Now I just need to wrestle with my inner miser, since I already have all of them on disc...
I own Under A Killing Moon and Overseer. Still, having a preconfigured XP/Vista version of the games (with no CD swapping! YES!) for 10 bucks seems pretty reasonable considering the size of the games and their sheer awesome-factor! :-)
Also, never played the first two, so I'll be grabbing those too.
How do GoG's Tex Murphy versions work? Do they use DosBox?

Agreed. I was never able to get my UAKM working properly in XP. Eventually I just gave up on it. Overseer I don't think I was ever able to get working properly, period.

Yes, that's the only way to run DOS-only games these days, with the exception of VDMSound.

This is cool.
I just got Mean Streets and Martian Memorandum. I own Mean Streets on 3.5 floppy disc and Under A Killing Moon on CD.
I'm glad to finally get Martian Memorandum, used copies of this game have been going for almost $100 on Amazon.com and EBAY.
Now I would be very happy if GOG could get the old Access Software game called Countdown and I would be very happy.
Very happy about this. These are some of my all time favs.
Anyone play Black Dahlia?
Here's hoping GOG nabs that as well.

Unless you have the sourcecode, that is.

They would have to get Take2 Interactives catalogue for that.

I noticed this announcement on GOG's twitter. It just blew my mind :-)
I used to own Under a Killing Moon, Pandora Directive and Overseer. But I don't remember going through the last two. Then I [stupidly] sold them during my college years. It's really good to see them all back here, especially the first two games which I never played either!!
Great work GOG :)
this was one of the most awesome series of games i could have hoped to see on GOG! waking up to the tex murphy email was awesome, thanks guys!
It's great news... I got UAKM to run sweetly with Dosbox... but being a vista x64 machine Pandora is a bit niggly and only works windowed and Overseer won't even install... so this is a god send...
