Tex Murphy: OverSeer is the final (hope dies last) game of the Tex series and actually is a remake of the first game. You see dear Tex finally got a serious date with Chelse (the girl from Pandora's Directive) and he's recounting the events of Mean Streets to her (yeah Tex you'r e a hero alright!).
To be fair Overseer stays true only to the story of Mean Streets, apart from that the game is a "rich" adventure which combines 3D graphics with FMV (the last of its kind as far as I can remember) and has all the elements that made Pandora's Directive THE BEST adventure of all time. Don't get me wrong the game is a great succesor but my original copy was *^*%^%#^%@$ buggy (that's why the four stars), literally I was saving every minute and that ruined the whole experience. I hope GOG has solved these issues with the installed patch.
The end of the game promises that there will be a cotninue but Access is no more :(. Will we ever learn what happened to Tex?
