Howdy,

We were using my Wife's laptop to play Tesla Effect, so we could hook it up to the big screen. I knew it was well under the speccs for this game but for the most part it ran fine. Unfortunately we are at the very end and there is a timed puzzle and her laptop simply cannot keep up. I would like to transfer the save files to my desktop pc so we can see the end, but for the life of me I cannot find the save game files. Any tips you have are appreciated in advance.

Depends on your Windows, for windows 7:
c:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\BigFinishGames\TeslaEffect
If you can't see the map, go to configuration options in windows > map folders > show hidden maps and files.

On mac I found my saves under a somewhat broken-looking path...

"/Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/[I]<TeslaEffect>[/|]/BigFinishGames/TeslaEffect/GAMEPROFILENAME/

...and yes, one of those folders is literally
"[I]<TeslaEffect>["
(minus only the quotes)

and the next folder was literally
"|]"
(again, minus only the quotes)

This is actually a valid path on a mac, and it works. But clearly there was a bug in whatever code generates these folders.
