First of all: it is not perfect - but it works and it has the better movies and it is in german.
A long time ago basti007 made a patch so users of the DVD version can have german subtitles if they like to. Since GOG have now updated the Overseer Version to a modified DVD version I tried to get this running with the german subs from the patch (search for overseerdvdpatch.exe).
1) Install the patch in your directory where you have installed the GOG version - you HAVE to install the Mpeg2Decoder and Intel RSX too.
The GOG version is a nocd version. There is afaik no german nocd version available so we have to use a real DVD or at least a mounted ISO file.
2) Burn the complete content of the Data Folder (including the Folder "Data" itself) as an ISO or directly onto a DVD. Name this DVD "OVERSEER1". If you made an ISO use daemon tools or another software to mount it.
3) Start the game, enter "konfiguration" and change the decoder to "Xing". Chance the DVD Drive to your mounted drive or to your real DVD drive.
I tried it and it worked but there are some downsides.
1) The Videos do look better then the CD version but they are a bit stretched.
2) Whenever a video end and you have a dialogue option the screen goes black in the moment so there is only the dialogue box visible until you have chosen.
Both "problems" are not in the english GOG version and it does not need a DVD/mounted drive. However this is one way to play the game in german.
