When installing tesla effect , Tex Murphy I get an error message " error creating INI entry " it then list the game file. It gives the option to ignore (does nothing) retry (does nothing) or abort . Obviously this is the only option that works and it just stops the install Has anyone else have this prob? The download took a long time. I thought that might have something to do with it.

Any suggestions?

Contact GOG support, though it's likely your download is corrupted and you will have to retry.
Try using the GOG downloader, it should validate the files.

I've just encountered the same error. I'd already run the file validator, with a clean result. When the installation was about 95% complete, it stopped and kicked out the ini entry error. I'm reinstalling now. Hopefully chrisshort's lack of a follow-up message means that's all it takes.

Same error the second time through, also right at the end of the installation process; HOWEVER, I selected "retry" and got the final window saying my installation was successful. Started it up, and it appears to work fine.

My experience then is different from Chris's, because in his case the retry button had no effect. Anyone else encountered this situation?
