spock84: Any idea why some people are downloading at ridiculous speeds and I'm only getting 1,3-ish MB/s? Should be able to get around 3MB/s.
If it makes you feel any better I'm only getting 2MB/s at best as well. At least it's downloading though.

It's probably the CDN (edgecast) that has low bandwidth near me or something. I really hope that's it and they're not deliberately throttling the speed.

I'm in the US and getting 5.5Mbps. But I have a 50Mbps connection. At 5.5 it's taking about 30 minutes to download.

damn where do you get your internet. my connection is only 30Mbps and i get a max of 3.0 MB/s download speed (yes i know the difference between Mb and MB.

"Only" 30Mbps? "Only" 2MB/sec speeds? What a bunch of whiners on here! Roll back to 1985 when we had 300 baud modems that tied up your phone line for hours just to download a 30KB game.

i didn't mean to sound like i was whining about the speed. that speed is way more than enough for my purposes. i'm the only one using the internet where i live and i'm not a heavy online gamer. the only reason why i don't use the level of internet that is the bare minimum to stream online video is the cost difference isn't that much and i like to download games fast when i do download them.
