is it possible to increase the font size of in game text because im struggling to see the small print ?

I think that would be a great idea. Even on lower resolutions it's still a bit hard to see. Alternatively, one thing you CAN do is run the game in windowed mode, then use Windows's inate Magnifier (if your CPU is either win 7 or 8) to simply zoom in. Ensure magnifier is set to what ever style you like (lens or full would be best.) You can activate it by pressing Windows Key and the + key. Zoom in and out with win+ and Win_ respectively, and quit magnifier either by closing the program or hitting Win Esc. it's not perfect, but it's helped me out a ton.
