I have attempted to make an xpadder profile to play Pandora with a gamepad (you must have xpadder from www.xpadder.com to use it, may work on UAKM as well, too lazy to install it).
It's still quirky, but may help (it attempts to mimic mouselook), grab it here:

Some instructions:
There are actually 2 configurations - one for Interaction (on Set 1) and one for Movement (on Set 2)
To switch between Interactive/Movement use Y button
To switch between set configurations use the right trigger (this is in case the modes get out of synch and you have the movement configuration when the game is in interactive mode and vice versa)
Interaction Set1:
Both analog sticks and the D-Pad will control the mouse
X, A - Left click
B - Right click
Movement Set2:
Use the left analog stick to move and the right analog stick to 'look around'
Use D-Pad up/down to crouch/tiptoe
A - To stop moving
X - Run
Since I don't usually play FPSes with a gamepad, I don't know if this is the optimal setup, but it seems to work ok.
Good luck!
