I have scoured the couch for the crossword puzzle, and have NOT found it. I remember playing back in the day, and being pleased I found it and solved it quickly, so now I'm a bit frustrated.
How important is it that I find and solve the crossword puzzle (apart from the money?)

Where are you looking for it ?
It's on the big couch at the reception of Ritz Hotel. Check the pic.
Anyway, you don't have to do the crossword puzzle to progress.
