I'm running Overseer from GOG on Parallels with Windows XP on top of Mac OS X Lion. Whenever I try to examine an object or open a menu, the cursor disappears or the menu disappears or the screen just freezes. Sound continues, it just seems to be the visuals.

Any ideas?

I've had the exact same problem. It seems like the game is working, but there's a graphics/video error.
Did you ever find a fix for this?

I did!

I decided not to use XP, but used Vista instead! I think it used a little tweaking, but not much, and then worked flawlessly!
