I've got as far as the jungle in Martian Memorandum (looking for Rick Logan) and I've run into a problem with the pit filled with spikes. I use the log on the pit, but I still fall in whenever I try and walk over the pit. What am I supposed to do here. Goto doesn't seem to work and just walking towards the pit doesn't work either.
