I know I can pawn items, but I don't have nearly enough things to sell to bribe people for the info I need.
Is there another way to earn cash?
Also, is there a way to buy ammunition?
Please, no spoilers, though :)

There are special spots on map, so called "bounty areas", where you can fight for additional money and ammunition. Check game manual for coordinates.
