Has anyone noticed that the graphic overlays for MM and Mean Streets doesn't do anything except changes whether the game fills the full screen? (Open GL distorts the image a bit so it only fills half the screen.)
I find that as far as the graphics go, it looks the same regardless of what I pick. I haven't tried UAKM, Pandora or Overseer yet.
And yes, I did click save settings before loading the game.
Am I doing something wrong???
Please help.... I wanted to use the filters.
In the computer I am playing it on i have a geforce FX 5200
Thanks.
those options aren't graphic filters.
Those are stored elsewhere

Qbix: those options aren't graphic filters.
Those are stored elsewhere

??
If they aren't graphic filters, then what are they there for?
What is their purpose? Why else would they be called graphic overlays.
And where are the filters stored then if those aren't it?
Thanks for your help.
that different methods to draw to screen.
Because everybody their videocard has different strengths
the graphics scalers are the scaler= option in the configuration file.
Probably called gamenamedosbox.conf in the directory of the game
Thanks =)
I used d-fend reloaded http://dfendreloaded.sourceforge.net/ for a dosbox frontend and the setup wizard in there . I also set overlay in the dosbox "doxboxtex1.conf" file and used the wizard to run MS.exe from that same directory, you could probably throw dosbox in the same directory as the game and it might use the ini file
