I have heard many things about this games controls but how exactly do they work? I heard that you use the mouse to move. Does that mean you move on rails?

not sure what you mean but it has a movement controller that when you move your mouse to the bottom of the screen it pops up & you use the mouse to move it in the direction you want to go.
