Hello!

So, i got the game for a while now, but have not been able to play it yet.
When it first came out i bought it, because i am fond of these type of games.
However, when i installed the game, and ran it, all i got was black screen. Nothing being pressed helped only doing alt+ctrl+del helped closeing the game. (Alt+tab works.)
I tried this on a T1055 AMD computer with a 7790 ati card.
I looked at the topic on another online distributor about this problem, but none of the mentioned fixes helped.
I figured it was probably my computer that had some problems.
Now i have a new computer, a 4690K. The videocard is the same, yet i still encounter the black screen bug.
I have the latest driver installed, since i had to do a complete driver installing when i got the computer home.
Oh the OS is win 7.
Anyone has any idea what may be causeing this black screen bug?
I have only one suspicion so far, but i need some confirmation does the game use Bink and Smacker vid technology?
If so does it install it during the regular install?

On 1 pc I did get a black screen but the game did start but not straight away, but the pc was only basic.
you also need direct x9.
it has files in it that direct x 11 doesn't contain. You also need to make sure the game is running off your video card.
Try to install this - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
Well thing is i tried both your solutions, and as i mentioned i tried to run the game on two pc-s so far.
I may have to try it on a laptop as well, but so far no luck.
I installed the dx from the given link but no luck the same black screen is what came up.:(
(Also i am fairly sure that during installation of the Tesla F you get the dx 9 installed, i still installed the dx 9 from the link given but nothing:( Oh i restarted the computer after the installation was done.)

To give a bit more explanation on both computers when i started the game, i get the black screen, then a white flash, like it was changing to a different resolution or something, but it remains black.
I waited 2-3 minutes but still nothing happens:S
Make sure the bink2w32.dll file is in your game installations home directory.

Sorry did not have much time to look after the problem in the past few days, but this was one of the few things that crossed my mind, that if the game is useing this technology. If i remember correctly it is an older tech, and it came to my mind that perhaps this is what causes the issue.
I will try and will post if it solves the issue.
checked i have the binkw32.dll in the directory.
size is 333kb.
So it seems that it is likely not this what causes the black screen.

So i checked it a bit, and hitting alt enter will enable to see the window frame, but still nothing will run. Apparantly a (video?) player should be running but it is not.

So i reinstalled the game, did a Catalyst driver update too, to the most recent WHQL one. No luck.
Still black screen, still something seems to be not fireing....
Such a shame....:( I was really hoping to play this game but apparantly though luck.
Also damn shame there is no option to setup stuff....probably that way i could make it work.

Did you try contacting support. They might see something you missed.

No. (It is getting a bit annoying that lately with new games 1 out of every 3 game I am getting some problems. And to wait days or weeks on the solution is tireing.)
Allthough I think I might start to have an idea what is causeing the problem.
My best bet so far is that I am using HDMI with the screen and computer connection, and since that tends to frek up in another game this is so far my best bet. Since i tried to run it with an alternative videocard as well, but though luck.
(was the minimum required 6670.)
And it still does not run.
Now it seems i got the same issue with GK remastered just as well, allthough the game at least runs just not a single animation appears. I got both Rad tools and the CCCP pack suggested but there was no difference.

Do happen to have on board video as well a dedicated card if so you need to make sure the game is running from the card that you installed the new drivers. win 7 & win 8 select the onboard by default.

I am not sure this is the case.
As probably i mentioned earlier i have a 4690K with a 7790 ATI card(MSI).
I have looked around for numerous options to do what you suggest here, however i lack that option in both catalyst center and on my desktop to either turn it off, or to assign my 7790 ATI card.
If i check catalyst center it shows that the it is the dedicated card that is working.
Also the integrated card is disabled bios wise, so it should not be what causes this error. (i5-4690K automatically disables the integrated graphics in bios, once it detects a dedicated videocard, so that there are no conflicts with the system.)
