When you throw a wooden block through a laser, it is supposed to ignite. (Please see attached.) The wooden block with the circle on it? I've just thrown it there. It didn't ignite, and so I can't complete the level. If I throw that same block though another section of one of the two lasers, it sometimes ignites. Sometimes it doesn't. But throwing it into this position (necessary to progress) reliably fails.
I'm trying to be patient with this game, but the many bugs are making it very difficult.
The game opts for learn-by-doing system rather than a tutorial, which is a great way to fly, unless you encounter a bug when you first meet a new block. Mesh blocks, for example. You can pick up blocks through mesh blocks, but you can't throw blocks through them. Nor can you (in theory) pass through them. But the autopath feature draws a nice white path through them, as if you can fly on through. And the first one I encountered, I was able to fly on through. Then I got stuck in the dead end beyond it, as I couldn't pass back again. I looked at the block description, and it said something cryptic about "one way only". So I get to bash away at these blocks, trying to figure out how they work, entirely confused because some of them don't work as intended (and again, that misleading autopath).
Plus, I don't know if I've solved some puzzles correctly. Sometimes, when I throw a block, I can get under it. Sometimes, the thrown block and I inhabit the same square. That is, the bot is obscured by a sand block or stone block that has fallen or been thrown. It's as if collision detection is broken somehow: wooden blocks sometimes ignore lasers, you can sometimes fly right on through mesh blocks, or occupy the same space as other blocks.
And as others have said, the undo button is broken. If you toss a block, and click undo, the block reappears in your inventory. Except it's not really there, as you'll find when you try and throw it again. If I undo up to where I initially picked up the block (however many turns that was), I can pick it up again and really have it.
I want to enjoy the game, but it's a sloppy mess, and I'm tired of wrestling with unintended behaviors.
