I downloaded the ".sh" installer twice, same problem.

Error in MD5 checksums: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e is different from f89038779fbf8a08de309d7d7603149a.

$ head -20 terroir_1_0_32391.sh shows the md5 is supposed to be: MD5="f89038779fbf8a08de309d7d7603149a"

Oddly enough, if it helps:
$ md5sum terroir_1_0_32391.sh
92f5234e109fa2b7dd47e601a76b6a3a terroir_1_0_32391.sh
So it's not even d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e ? (shrugs)

I had problems with my system recently, maybe it's entirely my fault. But I had no problems installing other games yesterday.

I downloaded the file and got the same MD5 checksum (92f5234e109fa2b7dd47e601a76b6a3a), but the installer worked on my PC.

The MD5 sum isn’t calculated on the whole file, only some part inside. I will have to try this sometime, but there must be something in your environment that changes the calculated MD5, maybe try this :

LC_ALL=C ./terroir_1_0_32391.sh
