I'll have to edit this later after I get a chance to play again, but something has been bugging me. When a zombie dies and makes the "blech!" sound...something about it is SO FAMILIAR to me. Maybe it's a stock sound effect...I don't know. Does anyone know of any other game(s) where some character or creature makes a similar sound? Sure, I guess it's pretty trivial, but I cannot rest until I figure this out.

Ah. Thanks. :) So it seems they ARE stock sounds, not Terraria-specific. Now the only question is...can I figure out what game I heard them in? It wasn't the game mentioned in the linked post.

Damn my brain for obsessing over unimportant things like this!

Edit: so I followed a couple trails and both brought me to dead ends. I think certain sound/memory wires in my brain got crossed or something. So I will give the answer to tinyE since it's probably the closest we will get to what may or may not be a solvable question.

If someone shows up with a better answer, which someone probably will, I'll give the points back. :P
