Hey guys.

Since 1.3 was implemented I found this BUG and never remembered of making a thread for it.

There's a major(or sort of) BUG happening even with 1.3.0.4 update, so I think the devs doesn't heard about it yet.

There's a big chance of losing a weapon buff(legendary, unreal, mythical etc) if you drop them on the ground.

So, if you're using a Legendary Ice Blade, it will become a regular Ice Blade.

Just for the devs to know, and a possible new patch to fix it.

Thanks.

Are there any negative weapon properties? If so, can the bug cause those to go away?
Is it only when you manually drop the weapon? What about when you die and all your items drop automatically?
When you manually drop it. Let's say you're organizing your inventory, and you accidentally throw a weapon/accessory away, there's a chance it will lose it's effect and becomes neutral(no boosts).

After installing 1.3.0.4 I completely forgot it, until I was watching my father playing the game. He became desperate because a monster was attacking him while he was working on his inventory, and accidentally drop his sword and it lost all it's effects(it was Legendary). Poor man :(

Them I told him "damn, I totally forgot this BUG! I'll post this in the forums."

I was really surprise this wasn't fixed yet. Maybe it doesn't happen too often, and we're just a lucky family.
