Hello everybody

All is in the title : I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the game (terraria.exe itself) is permanently downloading "something" as I play, in solo, which is pretty annoying when you got a slow network and doing something else as you play terraria, and I would like to know what is this, if somebody knows.
I didn't find anything about that on the official forums neither on steam ones.
Ps : I play in vanilla, but I got tmodloader and I think the splitscreen mod is around, even if not loaded. Maybe it's about this ?

Terraria should not be accessing the network at all if you're using Single Player mode. If it does for you, something else is going on.
I totally agree, but I really would like to know what...

For the record : I'm using a G510 logitech keyboard with AIDA 64 so I can monitor multiple things, including network, and I also use netlimiter software so I can monitor any DL and UPL connection. (names, bandwidth for every smallest connection), so there is no confusion, but this data transfert is not through internet, it seems to be somewhat "local"...

Without being altered, the default Terraria executable will not access the network at all during Single Player mode (I just tested this).

TModLoader seems to be the most likely culprit to me.
