I'm not sure if this is just some slight error, or a known bug (couldnt find anything via a search) or if my world save is corrupting.

Check out the image from my dropbox link:

...and then compare the lower part of the floating island to THIS earlier version.

The blocks are all still there in the game.

I'm not using any mods or anything that may affect things.

Huh. Just occured to me all the missing blocks are painted somehow - some with patterns. Could well be the cause.

I encountered this as well years ago, also without using any mods. Weirdly it sometimes happens and sometimes doesn't. I can't remember whether the skull and batsign were made of painted blocks though. It's certainly possible.

By the way, very nice airship!

yeah i think it must be a bug they havent managed to fix all this time. my world save certainly seems to be fine - no other ills at least,
