duckmna: i can only download the 1.2.4.1 version otherwise when i try to download other versions, nothing happens.
Like Unkalibriert (kinda) said, there is no way you can download 1.2.4.1 or any earlier version from GOG (or any other legitimate distributor that I know of) anymore. There is only one version available at a time, and if you've downloaded Terraria from your GOG library in the last three or four days, it's some form of 1.3. And if you're just jerking us around, you need a better hobby.
what i mean is i can only install 1.2.4.1,otherwise nothing happens.
I AM DYING TO PLAY THE LATEST VERSION BUT I CANT INSTALL ANY UPDATE BUT 1.2.4.1

Why not try with Galaxy? You can uninstall Galaxy afterwards or at least close it, you don't need it to play, only as a delivery service if you will.

At this point, that would be my recommendation, as well.

duckmna, just click the blue 'Try GOG Galaxy' button in your library, or go . If you absolutely DO NOT WANT TO use Galaxy, then contacting [url=http://www.gog.com/support/contact]GOG Support would be your next best option. Definitely look around on the Terraria support page first, though (if you haven't already), just in case there's something simple mentioned there that we all overlooked.
funny thing is i downloaded gog galaxy 3 times and nothing happened. i am genuinely confused.

Well, then contacting Support should definitely be your next step (if you haven't done so already).
i have contacted support about terraria, but have no idea what that did.

Are you still having problems? Have you looked in your GOG download folder (C:\GOG Games\!Downloads)? It didn't seem to update automatically for me either, so I took a look in that folder and ran the update manually.

He wasn't using Galaxy -- he apparently tried to manually download the new version, and either something kept going wrong, or he was doing something wrong.

In fairness, he said he downloaded Galaxy 3 times. I was only commenting as Galaxy has usually updated games automatically when I've downloaded them, but with Terraria it didn't automatically update for me. I just thought I'd try to offer some help, as I'd hate to see someone miss out on what is a thoroughy enjoyable update to an already great game.
i am starting to feel like this is hopeless.i have done everything i could for this but it has not done anything at all.

If you explained your problem thoroughly in your support ticket, and you got an automated e-mail from GOG saying your support request had been received, then just be patient. If you haven't, look around the 'Support' page for possible solutions we might not have thought of. GOG Support staff are usually kind of swamped these days, so it might take a week or so (from whenever you sent the support request) for them to get back to you. Whatever you do, though, DO NOT OPEN ANOTHER TICKET. This will push the whole thing to the back of their support queue. If you're worried you didn't give them enough info, you can reply to any e-mail Support sends you (including the automated one) without affecting your place in the queue.

No worries. I was just trying to reduce any confusion on duckma's part, as I'm guessing (s)he's not tremendously computer-savvy. Looking for folders and files that only exist with Galaxy installed when (s)he is (so far as I can tell) not currently using Galaxy would possibly cause him/her to combust. =D

Try re-downloading the offline installer and try uninstalling and reinstalling the game using the new installer that we've uploaded today.
how do i do that?
