Possible future game pad support?

It's always a possibility, will it ever be implemented? don't know since no-one from Re-logic seems to frequent these forums nor do I recall Redigit himself or any one else from Re-logic say anything on the subject. So you may have better luck asking the devs themselves over on the official forums on Terraria.org since the Re-logic guys(and Gal) are all over there. I'm sure you can get a more solid answer from Re-logic's community manager Loki, Red himself, his wife Cenix, or even the two new coders on the game though I think one is on break and the other is finishing up the Linux and Mac ports.

I wonder if we'll be able to use the Steam Controller? :B

Ever since I've joined GoG I've got to say: I'm enjoying playing Pc games with the controller. It's a cool and a fun way to play certain games, for example: Oddworld Oddysee among others. Of course having good hardware helps to play these games on eye candy level.

That's a likely probability. Since as far as I can recall the Steam controller was designed to work even with games without native controller support(they should off someone playing Civ 5 with the controller) how solid it would be with Terraria is a different question. Unless you mean will the GOG version work with Steam controller, that's a pretty good question guess that will depend on if Valve restricts the controller to Steam.

Using Xbox 360 controller. I tried steam before, I feel GoG is the way to go and will be a better alternative if they stick to their motto.
