Definetly not the "JOURNEY'S END". 2 pathetic and skippable bosses. A bit quality of life improvements. It dont feel's like "Journey's end", cuz there was no path after Moon lord. Feel's same as previous Terraria, but with minor quality of life features. Its good to have at least this, but compared to previous BIG updates, this one feels very "Meeeeh".
They did the work on this update for free. You were not charged anything for this. And you are complaining about it?

I say its fine as a little extention, but compated to other updates, it feels too small. Its called grandeur Journeys End and it doesnt feel this way. I dont complain, I like Terraria in the current shape, but I had better hopes for this update
OK that's good.

I hope they can announce a new Terraria game soon, because they have been doing amazing work.
Journey Mode is fun. You find X amount of items and "research" it and now you can duplicate it. You can also change difficulty and weather on the fly. I would not have restarted without tmodloader and mods but itseems tmodloader won't update for 1.4 yet, it might take time.

If you don't mind 1.3.5.3, I would suggest checking out the big game content mods like Calamity and Thorium.
It wasn't the update I thought was being hyped, that's true. And much of the update is stuff I'm not all that interested in anyway, like more critters in bottles and kites and golf and such. I'm more into the game part than the social part, to be sure.

Certainly good enough for a couple playthroughs, though. It's nice to get some vanilla in before mods get updated.
