Is it necessary to install all of the patch updates in sequential order, or can I just run the latest full installer?

I find that GOG patch updaters take forever. If download speed is not an issue for you I would just use the full installer.

It will depend on your situation a bit.

If you are behind several version just downloaded the latest main installer.

Thanks for the clarification. I figure it's probably still useful to archive the incremental updates, especially as Terraria reaches EoL (if that ever actually happens).
