Hi!

I'm currently mopping up the solar system and I have found that I absolutely cannot destroy the alien bases on the various asteroids and moons. They all have around 72k defense and every fleet I set to bombard dies almost immediately, without even firing a single shot.

So...any ideas or advice?

In currrent patch bombardment is pretty much not working on alien bases.
You got to build a fleet full of marines and send it over to invade. Aim for at least around 20 marine pods total to have a good chance.

Yeah, it's bad design.
