As everyone knows, Terminator Resistance doesn’t have a NG+ feature. For those who want one, here’s a workaround that sorta replicates that feature.

Steps:

1. Download the Unreal Engine Unlocker (Link: https://framedsc.com/GeneralGuides/universal_ue4_consoleunlocker.htm ). This tool will enable the in-game console. It’s not necessary to launch it every time you play, just the initial time to max out your XP and save.

2. Start the game and then follow the instructions to inject the DLL into the game. There should be a prompt that says it successfully completed that task, and a tab you can use to check if the in-game console is available.

3. Start a new game (or continue your current one if you like), since the console will only open in-game.

4. Once you’re in, press the ~ key to open the console. Type “exp 1000000” or some other large number. You can’t overflow since there is a level cap of 28. That’ll max out your level and give you 27 skill points at the start.

5. Get to the next save location (which isn’t far) so all your XP and unlocked skills save, and that way you don’t have to launch the Unreal Engine Unlocker again next time you play.

6. This isn’t enough to max out every skill, since there are still 6 skill books in the game to truly max out everything. To find their locations (alongside all other collectibles), check out this video: https://youtu.be/tApjGvuTBn8?si=Rs6mk6axzke8FJmH

My recommendation is to first max out everything but Fast Learner (since it’s useless now) and Hacking.

You can obtain the first skill book before even getting the Hacking device (and every hackable object in Chapter 6: Medical District is Very Easy anyways).

Don’t worry about upsetting Jennifer for the second skill book since if you do everything else for her, you can still achieve the best ending (and get laid). This’ll let you hack everything up to Medium.

The third skill book is in Chapter 11: Pasadena, and isn’t necessary to play that level since all hackable objects are Medium or below. So you can pick it up whenever you like before exiting the level to max out Hacking.

And that’s it. There are 3 more skill books to find and if you’re a completionist, you can dump those into the useless Fast Learner stat, but effectively you’re maxed out for the whole game. You no longer have to grind for any skills. Of course, you still lose all your equipment and chips, so it’s not a full NG+, though that is close to the new Deus Ex games’ NG+ modes where you keep all your unlocks but not your inventory.
