I'd love to play this again but all I have is a netbook currently. Should I be good to go?
Well, I played it on a Pentium 3 800 MHz with a TNT2 graphics card. There were some slowdowns though. I'm guessing the netbook has superior stats, though I can't be sure.

The most critical thing with oldish games and netbooks is usually the resolution the games require. I do not have TOEE (yet) but as far as I know the standard resolution of the game is 800 x 600. So as long as your netbook can at least do that you should be fine with this game.
system requirements wise, even a low end netbook beats the crap out of any 2003 home computer, so, yes, I can't see why it shouldn't run.
From one netbook gamer to another, here's a piece of advice that should hold true for all the games you intend to run on your netbook:

Try the demo first.

Being able to run the demo does not eliminate any and all issues with the GOG version of the game of course (I have been burned - GOG, answer your damn support tickets!), but it does give a pretty good indication of whether or not you can run the game at least.

A couple of other good resources for your netbook gaming needs are and [url=http://netbookgamer.com]netbookgamer.com , both of which have databases of which games have been tested on netbooks.

You should keep in mind of course that a netbook is not just a netbook anymore. While a majority of them tend to stay within a short range of certain specs, there are netbooks with specs that are significantly lower or higher. I might be able to give you a clearer answer if I know what machine your trying to run the game on.
It's confirmed working on MSI Wind U100 with Windows XP

So... basically it should work for most, if not all netbooks since they're all very similar.

I would think it should run fine on your netbook. As smaug18 pointed out -- rez is usually the biggest issue and this game is well within netbook specs.
This should run fine on your netbook. I've owned a copy of this game since it's original release and I've run it on many computers that were spec'd lower than an average netbook is today. I was running the TOEE CD version on my Asus eeePC 901 netbook (using iso images and Daemon Tools for drive emulation).

But... if your netbook is running windows 7, you might want to wait and see if anyone reports any win7 issues with this game.
It appears to adapt well to custom/non-standard resolutions, so should be fine.

I've run the CD version of this game for years on my ancient laptop sporting a 1.6ghz processor and a pathetic 512mb with whatever terrible integrated graphics solution was common in 2003 or so. And it runs very well with the Circle of 8 unofficial patch (a must have).

There is one place in the game where you will experience noticeable slowdown, but that's due to lazy programming and will happen on even the best desktops out there.

The game also runs fine in Windows 7 for me.

I just installed it on my asus netbook, EEE PC 1000HA (standard netbook fare). Seems to run just fine (just played through the opening sequence).
