Anyone know how this behaves on win 7?

Runs fine on my Windows 7 64-bit. I have the Co8 modpack installed, and I run it as administrator. You do have to be a little patient though, it takes forever to start up and it looks like it freezes up before getting to the main menu, you just have to wait a little. It's a buggy game, but it's loads of fun and definitely worth playing.

Yes, I played it back at release. I seem to remember there was one area that, if you went through a door, you could bypass a significant portion of the game (maybe I'm mixing it up with another game) and get to the end very quickly.

I didnt know about the CO8 modpack, So thanks for that, it looks really handy! Here is a link for anyone curious about it.

Thanks for the heads up on starting it up, I would have probably "quit" out before it loaded. :)
