So I've been mixing up ToEE with M&M3 the last couple of weeks and I have been constantly plagued with ToEE losing my weapon combos. I carefully set up bows as 1, main weapons as 2 and crusher as 3.. and then get in combat want to switch 3 or 4 man to ranged attacking and find the bow has been replaced with the sword..

Even worse after combat I try to fix it up and find whatever weapon I put into the slot is put in that slot for every weapon combo! Have I missed something in how you are supposed to use this?

(this is a vanilla version downloaded late last year, nothing added).

I've found it works better, if you arrange combo 1, then when going to arrange combo 2, first remove all weapons from combo 1, then add the wanted weapons from combo 2. If you simply replace the weapon used in another combo, the weapon gets replaced in the original combo as well.

I think this is the reason for both my problems, initially I thought it didn't matter to the disappearing combos but the more I think about it I must have done some minor fiddling. (In the last specific case I think I gave my thiefs sword to the sorceress to look at maybe enchanting it).

Poor game design.
