How do I survive this? On Youtube there is a gentle introduction meeting a wizard and killing zombies. With Co8 Modpack I drop into an area with masses of Orcs who kill me in an instant.

I've tried sneaking off in different directions but they're all over the place. This feels like I've started the game proper. I really need more guidance!

I recommend uninstalling (or disabling) the Co8 modpack, playing through the tutorial without it installed, and then reinstalling it when you actually want to start the game for real.

The version of the Co8 modpack that I tried years ago actually had the tutorial disabled; there wasn't even an option to start it.
