That fight was shockingly easy. I had just finished up with the Balor and all my long-term (anything over 1 minute per level) buffs were place, but all the shorter-duration spells had timed out. I was more or less just exploring around and wasn't exactly sure when the final boss would appear. When the fight actually did occur, Zuggtmoy barely had time to do anything. She summoned a Hezrou, made a few feeble attempts to attack my party (nothing connected), and attempted to cast something that just bounced off of "protection from evil". The whole struggle lasted 4-5 rounds (I wasn't really counting) and then she was down, and my party was completely unharmed.
I was a little taken aback that it was over just like that. After dying several because of my tendency to charge head-first into battles with inadequate preparation, I just waltzed in and effortlessly killed the final boss. I'm kinda disappointed now; it was a really anticlimatic ending after a lot of really cool and interesting battles getting here. Not saying I was expecting something crazy hard, but that was a complete non-challenge.
Anyways, interesting game; glad I had the opportunity to play it. Shame it had so many problems, because it's definitely something that would have been worth seeing more of.
