The game was working fine until i updated my OS and installed High Sierra, now it wont open. I click the app icon and it just bounces maybe once or twice and thats it. It was working fine before and i was nearly finished the game.

Side note, explain like im 5. Im not computer smart.

I emailed customer service and they were very unhelpful.

How so? It's a known issue with High Sierra, and have at it.

is there a fix for High Sierra in sight? I'm experiencing the exact same issue and tried like a milion different wotkarounds...
Not working on my High Sierra either. When will we get a fix?
A workaround is to download the Windows version of ToEE and install and run it using Wineskin (http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/). I believe this is what GOG's Mac version uses anyway, with some extra trappings. ToEE runs fine this way on my 2013 Macbook Pro with HIgh Sierra.

The only extra tweak to make it work with High SIerra, which might be what is breaking GOG's Mac version, is that you need to go to the wrapper's "Set Screen Options" and disable the "Auto Detect GPU" option (which is checked by default). This is a known issue with anything that runs via Wineskin in High Sierra.

I have tried just editing the wrapper in GOG's Mac version of ToEE, but I get a message that it is corrupt, so downloading the Windows version seems to be the way to go at this point. If you're not familiar with Wineskin, instructions for getting started and links to other sites with some help can be found under the "Manual" tab on the website above.

Best wishes.
