I've started off and in the beginning they're rambling on about how the ToEE was destoryed. I thought the whole point of the game was to find, spelunk and bring down the ToEE myself?
No. ToEE WAS destroyed but was repopulated again, and this is where the player party comes in. Co8 adds stuff but does not change the main plotline.

Thanks for the clarification. =)
Now wait a minute. What does this modification actualy change within the content? It dosen't cut anything out does it? PS: Ive also heard that Nulb was censored by Atari for some reason, Does the patch fix that?

Co8 doesn't cut anything. It adds some community-made content and restores some content that was cut. But it doesn't remove anything.
Even if it would cut things, the choice to play without Co8 isn´t really a choice, hehe.
It doesn't conflict with the 3.0 patch in the gog vershion does it? And if it does which files do I tamperwith in order to fix this? (I ask only because someone on the forums mentioned this and I got confused as to weither I should buy it or not)

I just patched the GOG version with the Co8 as it is described on the Co8 site.
It works fine on my win7 system.
Thank you. I'll buy the game as soon as I can.
