I was just wondering if the GoG version of this game came with the Atari patch, because the Co8 install instructions mention this might be the case with some versions. Basically, will I need to install the Atari patches myself?

I read in one of the other threads that it is prepatched to 2. so the co8 mod will install fine if the Original game is installed correctly. For me I had to do a little extra: i had to install the game to a different directory than the default "gog" older.

It's updated to the latest patch (patch 1.3, if ,memory serves). Don't worry about patching before adding the Co8 mod though. I installed the C08 mod on my GOG install and it worked without problems. As noted above, it's best to install to a different directory than the default though. If you're using Win7, run the installer as admin.
