Hello! I've come across something very odd during the chaotic neutral vignette. Your party comes across some kind of underground tomb. Naturally, they have to explore it.

The door to the left has two zombies and a chest. I know there's a treasure map inside this chest. But as I was fighting the zombies, the -map- decided to TALK from inside the chest. I don't know why, but it said "I've had enough of this."

I attached a picture.

This isn't a very useful topic, but I felt like sharing... quite the odd thing, I'd say. It's not every day you come across a talking treasure map that looks down upon slaying the undead.

Anyone know why this happened? Do inanimate objects have a tendency to talk in this game?

Since nobody has replied to this post, I choose to believe that there is actually an easily-irritated talking treasure map in this game. If somebody comes along and confirms it's just a bug, I will be a Sad Panda (CR 10).
Lol.

I don't remember that spot, but my guess is:

they wanted there to be a voiceover when you pick up the map,
so they put in an invisible character named "treasure map" that does the voiceover.

And guess that character panicked for some reason. :D
