I started an Ironman game last night and when I hit begin adventuring I was taken to an area where I could buy and outfit my characters and then after that the game began at the bandits outside of Hommlet.

Well, I started a new game today (non-Ironman) and after rolling all my characters it dropped me right into the bandit battle with no option to buy anything. So now I'm wandering through Hommlet with 500 GB and farmer's garb on everyone.

I watched all the cutscenes, etc but am wondering...did I miss something? Is this a strange bug? I read in the manual that I should be given the option to barter/buy equipment for my party but no luck.

Anyone else see this problem?

I'm also running CO8 5.9.2 NC mod.

When I play in normal mode, it doesn't give me the option of buying items either. That's without mods.
