I'm on a laptop w/touchpad.

I don't have mouse lag, it's that it is too slow. My sensitivity is at the max in windows control panel, but nothing changes the in-game sensitivity. I have the CO8 mod pack installed. I tried installing new drivers, no luck.

A partial, "mostly" fix:

1. I have all CO8 stuff installed.
2. I don't use the "Front End" application
3. I create a shortcut to the TOEE.exe executable
4. In the shortcut, I specify the -window option to make the game run in a window. (The game then used the normal hardware mouse which responds properly to all of the normal windows Control Panel settings for mice.)
5. In the shortcut, I set the option to Run "Maximized" so it is running in a maximized window. (This is because the game does not allow you to change the resolution normally under windowed mode)
6. The game starts up and runs the opening cinematic sequences in a little box, but once it gets to the menu everything is fine, and the game loads fine.

The downside is that, because you have to force Maximize at launch, you cannot exit the window and switch to another without losing the full screen option, meaning you have to restart the game to regain it.
