So my game crashes when i try to open up any kind of interface.
Read: Inventory, chests, dialogue.

I installed Co8 with its patch.

my best guess is that it is my Portrait pack, which is based on the Co8 one.

Any ideas how to fix it?
I guess one way is to reinstall it, but i dont know if that would *fix* it.

Since it tends to crash when i bring up parts of the UI youd think that maybe the Portrait pack broke something with the interface?

Could be, but portraits aren't displayed during dialogue, so I don't know why that would happen. But if it isn't too much trouble, then, yeah, I would try to re install everything from scratch, but leave out the portrait pack while you do some test runs. Try and run first the game in Co8 mode only to see if it makes the same crash or not.

If you installed the PP correctly, you should be able to just "deactivate" it in the TFE-X utility, so as to play with or without as you wish.

I use the Luis Royo PP and it works fine. Don't know about the others.
