Your biggest threat is actually bugs. Because Ironman only allows one save-game, you run a very serious risk of having a show-stopping bug prevent you from progressing and being unable to revert to an older save.
the only thing that bugs me is puting glaive on the sorceres as well... even with magic wep/bless/guidence...still barely hits...
A sorcerer with decent martial stats should be able to keep up with your regular melee-types at lower levels, but you don't have decent martial stats. Due to your poor dexterity your AC will be too low for this sorcerer to stay anywhere near combat, so by the 4th or 5th level she really should not be anywhere near melee
at all.
P.S They shud rly rework the identify stuff ^^' cus its cheaper for me to sell something thats no identified and than rebuy it once i know it costs less... :D
The only items that work like that are potions and scrolls, and the "detect magic" level 0 spell is all you need to identify those. Since the other cantrips are completely useless for the most part your sorcerer can handle a lot of these every day.
People like you are very annoying to those of us, who had to reload 20 times to get past the spiders in deklo grove... :D
I'd imagine there's an element of luck involved here. For a 1st level party in this game, pretty much everywhere has a strong probability of leaving at least one party member dead (and some of the more difficult areas have a very high probability of TPK).
For instance, when I first encountered that Ogre he won initiative, charged, and got a critical hit against my fighter, killing her instantly. At these low levels, luck is a
big factor.
from what i understand evryone gets a different beginning...and ive been told to go to the mothhouse...never tried the other beginnings...
Yes, no matter what your beginning is you'll be told to go to the moathouse very early. Far earlier than you
should be going there. I'd say arriving at level 3 is a good idea.
P.S Btw im exploiting the game a little...if this was PnP the GM yould have killed me 20 times by now for going forward killing one group of monsters runing back and resting...especialy if i did it the many times ive done it so far :D~
On an Ironman game, I'd say this is pretty much the only way to do it. This playstyle bothers me, as well, but without reloads it's pretty much the only way to proceed here.
P.S Im still asking...is there any nasty surprise awaiting me...something like the blobs that come from the sealing but deadly :D cus thats the only thing that i couldnt scout so far...(always going full buffs when i go trough stairs...as i said i did play the game a little to get familiar with the mechanics ^^')
A better question is where
aren't there nasty surprises awaiting. Seriously, I'm thinking back and pretty much everywhere you can imagine has some sinister hidden danger that can result in a gruesome demise for those caught off-guard. The ooze are tame by comparison to some of them. You'll pretty much need a walkthrough to cover all of them.
