I've read on here that the GOG version is fully patched, but when I install the Humble NPC's mod (to allow manual management of hired NPC's inventories) the game doesn't start. The instructions with the mod say to just replace temple.dll with the mod's temple.dll. Anyone have luck getting this mod working?

edit: I guess I should also add that I'd like to use the Co8 mod, and would like to know if that is compatible with this mod also.

I'm not sure about compatibility between the Co8 mod and the one you want to use, but check the Co8 to see if their mod includes that functionality. I used the Co8 mod on my game, but didn't take any NPC companions, so don't know if that's included or not. I suspect it is though.
That would be great if it is included! After reading about how NPCs take loot and you can't do anything about it, I really would hate for them to grab some awesome item that you can only get once or something. Really seems like a dumb design "feature".

Just checked: Humble NPCs is one of the components you can choose to enable in the Co8 mod, so you should be good to go. :)
In fact, I believe Humble NPCs is automatically on when you are using Co8.
Thanks for the quick replies guys. Can't wait to dig into this game. Back when it came out, I was really itching for another Baldur's Gate fixation, but my computer at the time didn't play this very well.
