Is there any way to assign a hotkey that will put my whole party into / out of "sneak" mode? Despite my best efforts, even w/ every party member selected, the key I assigned will only put (1) guy into sneak mode. In order to put my whole party on sneak, it's 1 key > "S" 2 key > "S" 3 key > "S" etc.

Thanks for any help.

Not that I know of.
But I can't see how it'd be useful either unless your whole party has decent sneak skills and that's almost never practical, unless you're roleplaying a bunch of rangers and rogues. The armored fighters are going to fail anyway and get you noticed.

The traditional "correct" way is to have one stealthy character who scouts ahead.

I lead a sneaking party of 5 past the entrance to the moathouse, and it kept from triggering the frogs from emerging. Any other way, and they come out.

So there's that!

I think if you have a single Rogue sneak past the frogs, then enter the moathouse tower door, it "pulls" the rest of the party into the new area as well. I know this works once you get into the temple, as you can put the ring of invisibility on a single character and have that character sneak all the way down to level 4 and through the nodes, always "bringing" the rest of the party along when you enter a new area. The game is basically broken in that respect.

Makes it fun to join Darley or Kella into your lvl 1 party to help you clear the upper levels of the temple though ;)

Maybe, but before you can enter the door, you have a courtyard full of thugs to deal with. My first run, back when the game came out, obliged me to take on those frogs, because I traipsed through w/o sneaking.

When I re-bought the game through GOG and replayed that area, I put the whole party on "sneak", and they made it through the wooded path to the moathouse courtyard WITHOUT alerting those frogs.

So the real question is this: Did having the whole party on sneak keep those frogs from emerging from the water? If so, it certainly seems "useful", Jarmo!

Then it probably worked they way you intended and having the whole party on sneak can indeed be useful.
I stand corrected. Still no key to do it easily though.
