I've installed CO8-NC patch and have played most of the game (around level 11) including moathouse and welkwood bog (I just killed the old crone in the temple). Now i'm going back to do the mod's nc and I can't seem to open the hickory branch area (I've chatted with the town elder and he doesn't mention the orcs). Can i still go to this area or should i be looking else where for the added content

Make sure you've talked to Hroth Renton about Welkwood Bog, as this is one of the triggers necessary to make Hickory Branch available (the other trigger is having cleared the moathouse). Once these two things have been done you should be able to ask Brother Smyth about "Something different" to get the Hickory Branch content started.

Okay this is not working for me.

II cleared the Welkwood Bog and the moathouse (they are both in my logbook) but Hroth Renton and Brother Smyth do not have anything new to tell me.

Any ideas? I hope i do not have to start over.
