i use the Circle of 8's mods
i use gog galaxy

nothing makes the game start it always shows up on the bottom of my computer shows the icon then nothing

I know nothing about GOG Galaxy, but the Co8 mod requires you to activate it in the Co8 Front End, and must be started in the Co8 Front End. If Galaxy is bypassing this, that may be your problem.

the modpack keeps crashing on the loading screen before desktop
i tried enabling / didsabling intro
its doing compaability xp sp2

Check the .ini file in the gamefolder if the resolution set there is supported by your graphics card, put there something standardish like 1024*768.
