***WARNING PROBABLY SPOILER***

When I use Fragarach or Scather on enemies with fireshield spell-buff on them (Balor guardian,salamanders for example) my game freezes.
These holy bastard swords hit back anything that hits the wielder but in the case that the opponent has fireshield spell it's like :

1: I hit the enemy
2: fireshield hits me
3: I hit back cause of fragarach or scather's ability
4: game stops at my character's turn and can't pass to next ..camera moves,
music is playing normaly but everything else stops functioning.
After that I have to Alt+F4 then load..

This bug or glitch or whatever... heppend to me only in fire temple(in temple of elemental evil level 2) and fire elemental node maps.
Also I 'm using Co8 modpack 6.1.0 .
Any help? (besides the obvious "Don't use those OP ,fun-killing swords!" )

Eh, a bit late to the party, but I think the bug can be resolved by going into the inventory and using an object (any object). Then after pressing the end turn button the game should unfreeze. See if it helps.

This of course applies only when you are using 1 sword, dual wielding them is another matter altogether.

I have a question related to this topic.

I am almost at the prince's room (i see i have a huge battle before i get to him - unless there's a trick to get around that first), I built a fighter completely around getting this sword (Chaotic Good, weapon focus, specialization, greater focus, improved crits - all bastard sword), and I'm wondering which sword is better? And how to get both?

I looked up weapons somewhere (maybe gamebanshee?) and found these, they say Frag is a bastard sword and Scather is a Greatsword. They also say damage is holy and chaotic for both. Are they wrong on these details?

From what I looked up I figured I had to fight him to get Frag - the sword I wanted according to wherever I looked them up.

Any help on this?
